The Saskatoon Japanese Language School is a non-profit organization that wants to make learning Japanese accessible to all who are interested in Japan.
We currently meet at Walter Murray Collegiate. The semester year is September-June. The cost for the semester year is $120. After completion of the semester year, students receive a Certificate for the Study of Heritage Language from the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association and Saskatchewan Organization for Heritage Languages.
Japanese is a heritage language offered through the Saskatoon Multilingual School (SMS). SMS is one of Saskatchewan Intercultural Association’s longest ongoing programs. Established in 1983 through co-operation with the Catholic School Board, the School now includes over 1000 students and 150 teachers.
